Castle on the Hill - Ed Sheeran

I have been based in Ipswich for the past few days so wanted to find a song to mark this, however apart from a few football songs, I couldn't really find any so this is the closest I am able to find :)

Castle on the Hill, was released in January 2017 and refers to Framlingham Castle in Ed Sheeran's Home Town of Framlingham (about 30 mins drive from Ipswich)

The song is reminiscent of his childhood and growing up in the town as a teenager - he refers to tales of "smoking hand rolled cigarettes" and getting drunk with his friends.

Sheeran wanted to create a reflective song, similar to the one Bruce Springsteen sang in "The River" . This song is his love letter to Suffolk.

I'm on my way
Driving at 90 down those country lanes
Singing to Tiny Dancer
And I miss the way you make me feel, and it's real
When we watched the sunset over the castle on the hill
